ISA - Anyone else have one?

We have a MS Internet Security Acceleration 2004 server.

Can anyone here help me out with it? I have a million questions?

Like i don't even know how it works?

I am running ISA 2.0 here, I might be able to help....I know there is a big difference, but none the less I'm here.

Thanks guys! I'm checking out that website now.

I haven't had that much time to play around with it, but the more i read about the ISA the better it sounds.

Re: ISA - Anyone else have one?

I believe ISA 2004 and 2006 haven't had any security alerts either, so as an application it is very powerful.

    EDIT:  Poor grammar

Re: ISA - Anyone else have one?

Can you actually block individual websites with it?

As you would with a firewall? Alot of slackers at my company, so we need to stop them from playing games. I've blocked MSN, Music Streaming as best as I can. But for some reason the shockwave games keep working.

and i want to block a website.

Hmm.  Microsoft's website re-directs you to

    http://www.microsoft.com/isaserver/partners/accesscontrol.mspx

So I assume not (that is if you can't get away with blocking by IP)

Well! the isaserver.org site, i found this.

    http://www.isaserver.org/articles/2004firewallblocklist.html.

But i did as it mentioned and it seems that none of the sites are being blocked.

    Very wierd.

Hmm,  may have gone from the 2006 version as I don't have them on it.

What does the logging show you?
