    Phone Section

I would suggest making a easy to find phone section.

Possibly for AVAYA -> IPOFFICE. -> voicemail pro

Do we have any experts in this?

    Re: Phone Section

I havent done much work on phone systems for a while, IP or not, I know a little bout Asterix, little about 3Com, little about Avaya, a good bit about different Dialers - but I do not consider myself to be a professional.

Good question though, I'm interested in seeing how many pro's we have here.

I know a lot about telecom, VoIP and almost everything about Avaya IP Office.

    ... Migrating phone systems..

Does anyone have experience with -

    Mitel 3300 IP Communications Platform

This is what was suggested to us.. We're currently with IPOffice 412, and we're interested in going to something bigger and for it to be centralized for two offices.

    Re: Phone Section

Sorry no experience Migrating phone systems.

I've been around several phone systems, doing tech support & consulting.  I've been using Mitel for about a year, and seems ok, a bit different terminology than Nortel and Avaya.

Flexable paths, ques, or hunt groups.  Good smdr reporting, alerts, and notifications, also has unified messaging with voice messages to email.

Diagnositics and trouble shooting tools could use some improvment.  As a call center with around 200 phone reps, over voip, we get the information we need from the system.

Sorry I couldn't assist with any migrations from IPOffice, good luck.

New updates.. we might be just staying with Avaya!

Getting thier new CDM system.. if i'm not mistaken.  which is supposed to be even easier than our current Avaya IPoffice system. I'll keep you all posted.
