Vista Language Packs

Sponsor

Windows Vista Enterprise and Ultimate editions allow you to easily change between multiple languages.  This is great for multi-national companies that operate in different countries that use different languages.  Living in Canada, which is officially bi-lingual, this also comes in handy when you have a national company with operation in Quebec.  If you are an enterprise customer you can download the language packs from your volume license site, but if you are using Ultimate they are available from Windows Update.  Simply check the box next to the language you want and click install!

Once the language pack is installed open up the Control Panel and under Clock, Language and Region click Change Display Language.

Now if you are using Enterprise you will need to install the language pack first by clicking on Install/Uninstall Languages.

Click on Install Languages (or Remove Languages if you wish to remove one you've already installed)

Browse to the folder with the LP.CAB file and click Next.

The language pack will install and once complete you will have the option to choose the language.

You will have to log off and back on for the change to take place.

Au Revoir!
