It is sad but true, I am losing my MVP status. It didn't come as a surprise and Microsoft has a good reason...
... and that reason is the Microsoft employees cannot be MVPs :) As of August 21st 2006, I will be employed as an IT Pro Advisor on the Developer and Platform Evangelism team at Microsoft Canada. I will be specializing in Core Infrastructure products including Exchange server and virtualization! I can't tell you how excited I am to be given this opportunity! It has been two weeks since I got the offer and I am still bouncing off the walls. The question you are all probably asking is "What's gonna happen to thelazyadmin.com?" I am happy to say
ABSOLUTLEY NOTHING. There are some infrastructure changes coming, and I am looking to add some more lazy admins to the group so they have a place to publish their work (click the contact button to the left if you want to know more). Other than that it is business as usual, you will still find great tips and tricks to help you manage your Windows infrastructure. In the mean time, if you are interested in following my journey to Mississauga, my work with Microsoft and the rest of my life check out my new blog on
Live Spaces. Thanks for your support and keep reading TLA, it is good for what ails you :-D
