Patching workstations and servers has been made a lot easier with the implementation of SUS/WUS/WSUS on your network. In order to update your ISA 2004 Server with your *US server, a new Access Rule must be created.
Its a pretty straightforward procedure and we'll start by opening up the ISA Manager MMC, and clicking on Create New Access Rule. Enter a name for the rule and click Next to continue.
Select the Allow radio button and click next.
In the This rule applies to: drop-down, choose Selected Protocols. Next click Add and add the HTTP, HTTPS and Kerberos-Sec (UPD) protocols. HTTP and HTTPS are under the Common Protocols protocol set and the Kerberos-Sec (UPD) is under the Authentication set.
Add LocalHost as the source....

....and add the *US server as the destination computer.

Apply the rule to All Users, and click Next.
Verify everything is configured properly, and click Finish to end the wizard.
Apply the changes in ISA Manager and your ISA 2004 now has access to your *US server and will recieve and apply approved updates.
